HONEYCOMB CORAL
Uncommon on
reef slopes of the Indo-Pacific and rare from a few locations on Oahu, Maui,
Kaho'olawe, and the Kona Coast. Forms massive encrustations or
knobby mounds with free edges, calices medium or large, immersed, with
sharp walls. Golden brown with white margins. Hawaii
& the Indo-Pacific.
