YELLOW CABBAGE, or SCROLL CORAL

Fairly common on fringing reefs and lagoon patch reefs.  Primarily horizontal plates with widely spaced calices 2.5mm in diameter, fluorescent green over brown base with  bright yellow margins.  Forms a species complex with Turbinaria mesenterina, which largely differs in color.  Red Sea to the Society Islands, excluding Hawaii.
