Uncommon on sand or rubble slopes in sheltered water.  Large thin dome with well-separated mouths ringed by elevated septa in a random pattern, colony overall has ribs radiating from a central point.  Brown with white mouths.  Red Sea to Okinawa and Pitcairn.
