ROUGH ACROPORA

Locally common in a variety of habitats.  Domed plates or clumps with thick branches, crowded radial corallites of two sizes with with cupped lower lip.  Acropora millepora has radial corallites of uniform size.  Cream, gray, brown, or greenish with yellowish branch tips.  Central Indian Ocean to Samoa.
