HYACINTH TABLE CORAL
Very common
on shallow reefs in open water. Large flat plates with thin,
closely-spaced upturned branchlets, axial corallites small, cupped radial corallites
short, forming rosettes. Cream, gray, brown, or green. Indo-Pacific excluding
Hawaii.
