CLUB PSAMMOCORA
Uncommon on shallow reefs exposed
to current.
Massive with thick club-tipped columns, corallites in short valleys with
large petaloid and radial granules, light gray or brown, tentacles
retracted during the day. Easily
confused with Pavona
clavus. Madagascar to the Marianas and Tuamotus.
