BLUESTRIPED BUTTERFLYFISH

Fairly common on reefs to 200 feet from O'ahu to Kure Atoll,
uncommon around the southern islands. Feeds
upon worm tentacles and small invertebrates. Unlike other
Hawaiian endemic species, this one has no close relatives. Attains 5
inches. Endemic to Hawai'i. |
