Inhabits large anemones to 45 feet.  Iris not dark, 10 dorsal fin spines, soft doral rays short, white bars edged with black.  Attains 4.5 inches.  Central Indonesia to the Coral Sea, New Guinea, Solomons, and Vanuatu.
