  THREESPOT CHROMIS

Locally common in small aggregations along ledges exposed to current where it feeds upon zooplankton.  Dark brown, black, or gray, normally with three white spots ahead of the tail.  Juveniles are gray with a black posterior.  Attains 9 inches.  Endemic to Hawai'i.
