SLENDER PEARLFISH

Rarely observed at night when they leave their sea cucumber prey to find another, after they eat the internal organs.  Semi-transparent, densely covered by tiny dark spots, marginal fins clear, with posterior rays black.  Attains 11 inches.  Red Sea to Hawaii and French Polynesia.
