Uncommon on hard reef at scuba depths.  Forehead profile is concave and the eyes are set far apart, the forward edge of upper eye located behind an imaginary vertical line from the rear edge of the lower eye.  Attains 18 inches.  South Africa to Hawaii and Ecuador.
