YELLOW-BARRED PARROTFISH

Very common on sheltered reefs & lagoons.  Males have a light blue shoulder and dark rear; reversed on S. oviceps.  One of several 'Yellowbar' common names.  Attains 12 inches.  Malaysia to Japan, east to Fiji, excluding Hawai'i.
