NARROW-BARRED SPANISH MACKEREL

A nearshore pelagic species occasionally seen along dropoffs or caught by trolling.  Greatest body depth at root of anal fin, numerous wavy bars overall.  Attains 95 inches and 154 pounds.  Red Sea to Japan and Fiji, excluding Hawaii, also reported from St. Helena, and Mediterranean Sea by transiting the Suez Canal.
