Female, Wakatobi, Indonesia, 40 feet

SPECKLED SANDPERCH

Common on sand & rubble.  Attains 10 inches.  Large black oval on tail, males have orange diagonal lines on cheek.  Red Sea to Okinawa and Tonga.
