BLACK SNAPPER
Occurs along dropoffs in lagoons and outer reefs.
Adults gray with black blotches and unadorned head, juveniles nearly
identical to Macolor macularis,
with white tipped caudal lobes. Attains 24 inches. Red Sea
to Okinawa, Micronesia, and Fiji. |
