KAUA'I WHITE HIBISCUS    KOKI'O KE'OKE'O

Endemic to mesic forests of Kaua'i.  Small tree up to 30 feet.  Compared to Hibiscus arnottianus it has larger leaves with wooly undersides and flower petals short & wide.  Cultivated plants show range of forms between the two species.
