TELESCOPIC CRAB    Maka'aloa

Lives in square-shaped burrows in muddy bays, harbors, fishponds, and estuaries.  The rear leg tips are pointed, not paddle-shaped as in Podophthlamus vigil.  Attains carapace width of 2 inches.  Red Sea to Hawaii.
