BANDED HINGE-BEAK SHRIMP

Common on shallow reefs with crevices at night.  Orange with transparent bands on abdomen and three extending diagonally onto carapace.  The tail blades are banded, unlike Cinetorhynchus hiatti.  Attains 3.5 inches.  Hawai'i and the Ogasawara (Bonin) Islands.
