STRAWBERRY ANEMONE

Forms mats on shaded surfaces exposed to current at any depth.  Color variable.  Attains diameter of 3/4 inch.  Not a true anemone but rather a Corallimorph, indicated by clubbed tentacles.  British Columbia to Outer Baja California.
