WHITE SEA CUCUMBER

Common on rocky reefs in current-swept areas.  Has 8 long & 2 short oral tentacles.  The similar Cucumeria piperata & C. pallida have 10 long tentacles.  Attains 4 inches.  Alaska to Japan & Baja California.  Formerly known as Cucumaria quinquesemita.
