SPOTTED LINCKIA

Locally common in shallow water.  Pink, red, or gray with small red spots and rough texture.  Attains 5 inches.  Individuals missing arms are called comets.  Parasitic Eulimid snails are sometimes found on or within the body.  Hawaii & the Indo-Pacific.
