| Rare under dead coral or rubble in shallow water
within Kane'ohe Bay. The somewhat distorted shell has coarse
radiating ribs and a brown periostracum. Attains 2.5 inches, 62 mm.
Endemic to Hawaii. Formerly misidentified as the Indo-Pacific Barbatia
decussata. |
