FRAGILE PURSE SHELL
| Uncommon in crevices or under dead coral deeper than 20 feet. Shell
irregular and fragile with fine
concentric growth rings, cream with a white interior. Attains 2
inches, 50 mm. Red Sea to Hawaii and the Tuamotus. Introduced to
the Eastern Mediterranean via shipping. |
