'AU'AU FILE SHELL
Common in wispy nests beneath stones in shallow water.
Shell thin with ribs separated by wide interspaces present across entire
surface. Pale orange tentacles extended during feeding. Attains 1 inch. Endemic to
Hawai'i. Formerly reported from Hawaii as Lima fragilis. |
