LAHAINA FILE SHELL

Uncommon in nests of rubble in crevices deeper than 80 feet.  Shell fragile with narrow ribs separated by wide spaces.  Bright orange tentacles extended during feeding.  Attains 1 inch.  Endemic to Hawai‘i.  Formerly known as Lima lahaina.
