CARIBBEAN REEF OCTOPUS

Common in shallow water at night.  Brown with an iridescent blue cast and dark ring around the eye, suckers not edged with brown.  The Common Octopus, Octopus vulgaris, is active during the day.  Attains arm length of 20 inches.  Florida (likely farther north) south to Brazil.
