RELATED AUGER
Uncommon
except near large harbors, possibly introduced in bilge water. Rounded ribs separated by
16 punctures, white with
flesh-colored blotches. Attains 1 inch. Roughly intermediate
in form from the
native Terebra affinis f. puncticulata and Terebra
peasii.
Three distinct forms present in Hawaii are often lumped together with Terebra
(Myurella) affinis. |
