YELLOW-BANDED AUGER

Uncommon at any depth.  Shell slender, ribs low, cream with yellow spirals and scattered brown spots on subsutural band.  Attains 1.4 inches, 35mm.   East Africa to Hawaii and the Line Islands.  Formerly known as Terebra flavofasciata.
