MORELET'S CONE

| Common on reefs deeper than 15 feet.
Slender, spire low and coronated, smooth olive green body whorl and purple
aperture, animal reddish brown with distinctive orange, yellow, and black
markings. Attains 2 inches, 61 mm. South Africa to Japan,
Hawaii, and French Polynesia. |
