FLY-SPECKED CONE

Occurs in sand on shallow reefs.  The spire is smooth, not coronated, and the degree of spotting is variable.  Attains 2.5 inches, 64mm.  Central Indonesia to Okinawa, Caroline, and Solomon Islands.
