FLAME TRIPHORID
| Common under dead coral at any depth. Conic-elongate, three
spiral keels, upper & lower larger and shelf-like, middle
thread small, lower thread sometimes beaded, white with axially-oriented
splashes of brown. Attains 0.7 inch, 17 mm. Endemic to Hawaii.
Formerly known as Viriola flammulata. |
