RIVAL TRIPHORID

Common under dead coral at any depth.  Gray-tan with dark purple-brown between beaded spirals, Posterior canal short, closed & circular, anterior canal closed & strongly recurved.  Shells from shallow water with strongly inflated whorls.  Attains 0.4 inches, 10 mm.  Hawaii and the Line Islands.
