RIDICULOUS CERITHIOPSID
| Uncommon in shallow water. Glossy brown with a white protoconch,
three beaded spirals per whorl, the upper bead slightly larger, beads
grouped tightly and joined axially, and a channeled suture. Attains
0.1 inch, 3 mm. Queensland to Japan and Hawaii. Formerly known
as Joculator ridicula. |
