CORALLINE TRIPHORID

Uncommon under dead coral in deep water.  Short & inflated, two equal rows of beaded spirals, with smaller row between on later whorls, white with irregular brown patches, posterior canal a shallow notch, anterior canal barely enclosed, short & recurved.  Attains 0.2 inch, 4 mm.  Christmas Island (Indian Ocean) to Hawaii and the Line Islands.  Formerly known as Triphora coralina.
