NICOBAR TRITON
| Common under stones and sand
pockets on reefs at any depth. White with fine brown lines and a
brown blotch above the siphonal canal, bright orange aperture, and white
columellar folds. Preys upon other snails including drupes and
cowries. Attains 4 inches,
103 mm.
Hawaii, Indo-Pacific, Galapagos, Tropical Atlantic.
