COMMON HAIRY TRITON

Rare under stones at any depth but prefers deep water among pen oysters.  Slender in comparion to other hairy tritons, with long white teeth extending into the dark orange aperture, and columella lined brown and white.  Attains 5.5 inches, 140 mm.  Tropics worldwide.  Formerly known as Cymatium pileare.
