THREE-PIT NUDIBRANCH
Fairly common on hard reef exposed to surge where it feeds upon orange sponge
at night. Three mid-dorsal pits and raised reticulation resembles
sponge prey, a few minor white areas on dorsum, gills white.
Aldisa sp. 2 has more white on the dorsum.
Attains 1 inch. May be endemic to Hawaii. |
