ADAM'S BUBBLE
Seasonally common in silty sand under rocks, emerging at night to feed
upon green algae. Animal ranges from orange to dark brown, thick inflated shell
with brown blotches and white flecks. Shell attains length of 1.5 inch.
Hawaii and the Tropical Pacific. The endemic Bulla peasiana
has a thin elongate shell with white flecks. |
