TINY NUDIBRANCH
Occurs in rubble or under ledges among sponge deeper than 10 feet.
Central band ranges from orange to red, margins white to yellow.
Uncommon throughout the Indo-Pacific and very rare in Hawaii, where the
first record was reported in 2022 by Katie Samuelson. Her specimen
above is unusually rich in color and contracted. Attains 20mm.
Red Sea to Hawaii and French Polynesia. |
