PRICKLY LACE CORAL

Common on
sheltered reefs. Long or short branches with narrow irregular
tips. Easily confused with delicate forms of
Pocillopora damicornis. A commensal
crab forms galls on some colonies. Red Sea to Hawaii and
French Polynesia.
