BRIGHAM'S CORAL
Common on shallow reefs exposed to wave action.
Small colonies, pinkish brown to blue or purplish gray with many
inflated knobs. Calices are large, deep, and pit-like with sharp
jagged walls, retracted polyps well below walls. Solid
Coral has deep bowl-like calices. Endemic to Hawaii.
