MAGNIFICENT SNAKE EEL

Uncommon
among rubble or hard reef at scuba depths where it may be observed
swimming in the open. Eyes small, cream with brown oval spots.
Attains 3 feet. Endemic to Hawai'i. Closely related to the
Indo-Pacific Myrichthys maculosus.
