Cargo Pier, Midway Atoll, 30 feet

Locally common but rarely seen on silty sand or mud.  Somewhat bulging eyes with a green pupil ringed by yellow, fused black dots forming a prominent, broken stripe below.  Attains 2 inches.  Endemic to Hawai'i.
