PACIFIC LONGNOSE PARROTFISH

Common on sheltered coral reefs.  Important food fish in Palau.  Attains 20 inches.  Indonesia to French Polynesia, excluding Hawaii.  Replaced by Hipposcarus harid in the Indian Ocean.
