COCKTAIL WRASSE
| Occurs in seagrass and seaweed beds at any depth. Mottled
greenish-red changes at will,with an irregular white stripe from eye to
tail, and diagonal bar from eye to lower coner of operculum. There
is a black oval between the first two elongated dorsal fin spines.
Attains 8 inches. Red Sea to Japan and Vanuatu. |
