Stock Island, Florida Keys, 3 feet

BANDED DWARF HERMIT CRAB

Abundant in turtle grass beds.  Legs banded with brown, right claw larger than left.  Maximum carapace width of 1/2 inch.  Massachusetts to the Caribbean & Gulf of Mexico.
