PROLIFIC or GIRDLED ANEMONE
An uncommon species found under rocks or dead coral or carried by the
Pom-pom Crab.
Color variable. Attains diameter of 1/3 inch. Spherical
vesicles around the column deliver a
painful sting. Hawaii & the
Indo-Pacific. |
