RHODODENDRON CONE 

Rare in sand or rubble deeper than 30 feet.  Shells from the Marquesas are more colorful than those taken elsewhere.  Attains 2.2 inches, 56mm.  Solomon Islands and Micronesia to the Marquesas Islands.
