FINGER DRUPE

Common on hard shallow reef exposed to waves around the far Northwestern Hawaiian Islands and other tropical islands, but rare around the main Hawaiian Islands.  Shells tend be badly eroded and coated by coralline algae. Attains 1.7 inches, 45 mm.  Eastern Indian Ocean through Polynesia.  Formerly known as Drupa grossularia.
