SPOTTED TRITON DRUPE

Common under rocks in shallow water where it preys upon mollusks.  Eighty percent  of shells within a population are black and white.  Attains 0.9 inch, 24 mm.  Red Sea to Hawaii and French Polynesia.  Formerly known as Maculotriton bracteatus.
